Practical Photography

We’re really quite old you know. We originally started out under the title of Popular Photography in 1957, and it wasn’t until 1959 that we evolved the magazine and name to Practical Photography, that you know today. Although a great deal has moved on since the 1950s, our first strap-line still holds true today – ‘Britain’s how-to-do-it photo magazine’ – as we continue to deliver great advice on how you can take the best pictures possible.
